Raleigh-based Sageworks - a finalist in WRAL TechWire's annual awards program - is the winner of a top honor in the commercial banking industry for its "Electronic Tax Return Reader" software solution.
Barlow Research, an industry leader in analysis and reporting about commercial banking, awarded Sageworks its "Overall Best Innovative" award recently in its Monarch Innovation Awards, which dates to 2007.
Sageworks' ETRR, which is patented, launched in 2015.
We are honored to receive this award from Barlow Research,” Sageworks CEO Scott Ogle said in a statement. “The Electronic Tax Return Reader marks a significant step toward our vision of eliminating data entry for our customers. Banks and credit unions receive thousands of tax returns each year in support of business loan applications and keying in this data is a mundane, costly and slow process. The ETRR technology is the result of several iterations we made to solve this problem and we have already seen its benefits in the more than 700 lending departments nationwide that use it to save time and scale their loan production.”
Sageworks joins a list of very recognizable winners such as Intuit, Wells Fargo and Capital One.
