Sageworks, Inc., a leading financial information provider, announced the release of a new version of its financial analysis software suite for CFOs and executives.
This version takes company financial data and turns it into a plain language narrative report and industry benchmarks. The cloud-based application is powered by Sageworks’ proprietary database of privately-held industry averages. This new version of Sageworks will allow CFOs and executives to instantly gain an understanding of how they compare to their privately-held industry peers and competitors through financial statement analysis. In our volatile economy, this type of information– from data on competitors’ operating costs to shifts in suppliers’ working capital – reduces uncertainty.
“We are excited to offer this version of Sageworks’ cloud-based financial analysis software suite, for CFOs” said Brian Hamilton, CEO of Sageworks Inc. “We started Sageworks in 1998 to help business owners gain increased visibility into their company’s finances and industry. Now, every CFO and executive has the opportunity to benchmark their company against financial ratios and industry averages comprised of privately-held companies."
“What a powerful resource for CFOs and financial professionals,” said Brad Schaefer, a Sageworks product manager. “We offer users the opportunity to benchmark themselves to their industry's performance on any ratio or a specific account. It's a 'health check' of a business that shows possible areas of improvement as well as provides an easily-understandable explanation of the financial situation of the business that can be shared with any executive or board member.”
